Typically a mandatory planning requirement where trees are present and representing the foundation of the ‘Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction’ framework. The initial development report details in writing the vegetation on site accompanied by a Tree Constraints Plan. See our Guide to BS5837 Surveys and Reports
Having taken into consideration the findings of the original BS5837 tree report a design proposal is then formulated. As your project arboriculturalist we will then assess the impact of your design and make recommendations to assist with the planning application. See our Guide to BS5837 Surveys and Reports
Once approved, the planning application will be conditioned requiring the details of any tree works, as well as protection measures for retained trees. The Arboricultural Method Statement will provide this information in a single document accompanied by a Tree Protection Plan. See our Guide to BS5837 Surveys and Reports
